My name is Steven Greenberg and I am the founding attorney of CRGO, from its earliest form more than fifteen years ago, to its present incarnation.
Originally trained as an Electrial Engineer at Columbia University in New York City, I practiced embedded systems and software development for several years, including as a founding member of a start-up organization, before returning to law school as a second career.
For more than two decades since, my practice has focused upon intellectual property (IP) rights with an emphasis on global patent portfolio design, development and management, domestic and foreign patent prosecution; patent portfolio market analysis and divestiture; patent post-issuance proceedings including re-examination; patent infringement and invalidity analyses and opinions; intellectual property due diligence in private equity and mergers and acquisitions; and strategic IP consulting.

In respect specifically to patent rights, I have written and/or prosecuted thousands of new computer-related, electrical/electronic, software, mechanical, electro-mechanical, medical device and Internet related patent applications, both domestically and internationally, on behalf of clients ranging in size from early stage enterprise to Fortune 50. Globally, I have coordinated the filing and prosecution to grant of patent applications throughout Europe and Scandinavia, the British Isles, the United States, Japan, Korea (ROK), India, China, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Israel and the Gulf States.
